anyway i have been doing some “man” maths and i think on a budget i can restore this for around £8500 doing all the labour myself

i wish i hadda kept a note off what i have spent on the bedford and the viva

but to put in to contrast Retro power quoted me £15000 to do the van around ten years ago same job now would be £60000

and as you can see from my last parts post which no one has questioned yet

quite large injectors

so as you can see hoping for around 400bhp with this set up

hard to believe the last update was 2nd May

i gave the wee man a choice go to cars and coffee or work on the pizza

so a temp battery box

and a rats nest off wiring

he was flat out with the multi meter

he actually got it turning over with no dash lights so fair play to him for not setting fire to it

and he discovered that the ecu had a stupid immobiliser and a fried resistor

is this what stopped this car from running ??

up for a few hours today and now he has roped his cousin in to help him i dunno if that’s a good thing or not lol

they actually got a good wee bit done but no ignition lights yet more home work required

i want so see how much off it he can get working before we strip it for welding
