Good luck, hope it goes well. Exciting times coming up.

Yep! It’s taken 7.5 yrs to get this far!

I’ll Hopefully have it back from paint for the winter to build it up.

Also Selling my DTA Ecu and Electronic Throttle module if anyone is in the market for one..

Changing over to Link G4+ Thunder.

I know it’s very personal and tell me to **** off if you don’t want to answer, but, without man hours, what do you reckon this build will cost? I know it’s not about the money, but I’m seriously intrigued.

What do you mean without man hours Chris?

It coudn't be done without 'Man hours' Everything has been custom made, there are very few of the parts off the shelf used!

Luckily the external Panels, other than the stretch on the wings are all off the shelf, probably for the best

Ah you'll be grand, just keep it on the black stuff! Can't wait for a nosey round this when it's finished.

Before the Final strip down, I ran the axle through a full suspension cycle to check for clearances and trimmed out the rear arches for max clearance etc.

Looks like I will need to step down to 22" Diameter rear tyres and run a fairly solid 3/4" bump stop to stop it trailing the arches off itself.

I'm now almost finished with the Strip down and chemically cleaning the externals panels. what a horrible job...

But rewarding at the same time, and gives me confidence the paint will adhere well...

The blaster should not have to be too intensive on the main panels, this should save them from distortion as all the panels are now lightened with all the support structure removed.

Almost there..

Plenty of bits now to Tart up while the shell is away, that will keep me busy..

Sourced a used V8 Bonnet fairly Quickly from England so the Blaster could attend to it this week

That bonnet, lol 😇 At least it was easily sorted.

Looks amazing!

Yes easily sorted, but the V8 Double Bulge Bonnets are now getting thin on the ground.

I'm going to cut the centre out of mine and keep it, so in the future I can graft it into a Single Bulgle bonnet that are still available NOS!!
