Looking to clean up the section of exhaust, anyone any ideas what would be best to use?

Not much else done since then really, fixed the sideskirt end cap gap, actually went out tonight to try and move it ever so slightly as I’m just not 100% happy with fitment BUT the 3M tape is so strong it wasn’t budging, so rather than risk breaking something I left it...for now;)

Today was a little check of all fluids etc in prep for taxing it tomorrow, yes I know it’s February but I just have to use it.
All good apart from washer bottle emptying itself when I top up, this has only started since I topped up but doing some forum digging it seems a common problem that the fluid syphons itself out as breather is lower than fluid level. No real clue how to cure this so will continue to investigate.

The washer breather being lower is probably to encourage owners to not use theny in crappy weather 😂😂😂

Love the details you go through 😁

They are also prone to the water going mouldy leaving a proper stink when you use the washers. Mine was like that on the St. I just flushed it through, some say use Milton sterilising tablet but I didn't fancy that. I just poured warm water through it then a high concentrate screen wash.

Good to get out again, a little shower of rain as soon I started to drive (ofcourse) but pretty much bone dry roads.
I almost forgot how much it dances about the road on full chat, nearly caught me by surprise :poop:
Will be out any dry day now until end of October.
Few pics obviously

Had a go at sorting the washer fluid draining issue, reading through some forums it seems the breather is lower than bottle filler cap therefore causing a syphon affect when filling up.
So wipers and scuttle were removed to gain access, and as can be seen the breather is quite low, using a small bit of clear hose I had lying about I gain an inch or 2 to the height.
A bit worried this is now close to wiper mechanism but I can’t see anywhere I can easily attach it to.

Will see how the next few days go and if I have anymore puddle on my garage floor:joy:

Breather only really needs to be a pinhole in size. Done it plenty of times on fuel tanks to stop them vacuuming under load.
