What’s happened? Subsidence?

More or less. A 2 year old Bulgarian bodybuilder called ‘Stella’ 💪🏼

Apologies for being so vague & premature. The rain beat me so I went inside & had a bottle of wine. Obviously everyone is on the same wavelength as you after a bottle of wine 🤷🏻‍♂️

The wean/wein/wee’un debate was worth it. Settled a few scores.

I’m worried that 2 parents have posted and not been able to work out what’s going on.
Lol, I for some reason though Barry's child was much younger, and always didn't get 'Weins'!

That's seriously cool garage. Would be nice to just run some timber fencing and planting to mask it to keep the natural look. Not that you asked for opinions 😂

I like that idea.

Considered ranch fencing but we thought it would act as a climbing frame. Dressing it up with hedge or ivy is definitely cool & within keeping of the style

Forgot I’d tried to update this thread in September (and failed). Apologies for being so vague/cryptic 🤦🏻‍♂️
Finally got round to fixing a temporary glass balustrade this weekend though.

Good thing this isn't in the garage thread. Wholly deserving of it's own thread and my word. Looks great with the finishing touch 👌

Really looks the part.

I'd have been tapping those holes with a cordless drill.
Set the clutch to slip a bit, tapping fluid and away you go.

Just read through this thread.

Holy toledo!!!! That's some house and the garage is a thing of beauty!!

Are you still sat-diving? I've seen what you guys do - and yeah, you more than earn your money!

Hat off to you fella, you put the graft in and you get the rewards.

Need an evening shot with the doors open, lights on and 3 bays of cars ;)

Hey @Rigger thanks for the kind words.

This is the best line up the garage has seen yet. Not sure if it will be beaten

Thats a cracking pic fella.

I'm sure you're glad you're out the sat diving game now.

My first ROV job was Diver Obs on the Welly, really enjoyed watching you guys do your thing subsea.

Health to enjoy the house, garage, car and of course family!

Love the house and garage @BarryPort!

Had to google what Sat diving is (probably a lot more to it then what i read), sounds very challenging and dangerous. Fair play!

Were you living below the sea for periods at a time? Briefly read an article there where a guy was living in a 'metal tube', 20 feet long and 7 feet in diameter with 5 other guys!

Barry - you want to tell them about your squeaky voice once you're 'at depth'? ;)

The Welly was/is a gift of a boat to dive off, it’s like a retirement home.

That’s it yeah, confined to a pressure vessel for up to 28 days.

Netflix ‘Last Breath’ is worth watching to get your head around it.

Mental, i wouldn't cope to well with diving that kind of depth, let alone the claustrophobic feeling of being confined.

What sort of work is it you do down there?

I'll give that a watch, thanks!

Seen that before it was made a public film. As usual it started doing the rounds, leaking into the public domain and Bibby realised they had to do something.

As ever, you certainly earned your pay when you see that film.

I remember watching one diver walking with a manifold cover supported by the ships crane. Thing must have weighed 20-25 tons, and he's got hold of it, to just steady it as it was moved from wet storage to fit back onto the manifold. Must have been 10m x 15 type of thing.

We were sat following the diver, and the cover was that big, that the rest of it just disappeared into the gloom.

Hat off to you guys - you got my respect 100% and then some!

Being used as a mobile foot stool, not so much ;)
