Got a replacement water pump in the Golf under warranty. Had it 2.5 years now and still puts a smile on my face every time.

Have you had your car from new or do you have a separate warranty for Golf.

thanks for the reply.had to get the water pump replaced on my Leon when changing belts but forgot to consider extended warranty.

Seats extended warranty is good, I’ve claimed for a couple of things for my Leon with no issues.
I have the full cover with no excess.

Went out to do a bit of tidying. Cleaned around engine bay etc, didn’t take long just a wee going over with microfibre.
Need to take wheels off for a deep clean and then it will be into winter hibernation mode

Started it

No power where the forester is stored and the battery was completely dead (not even a dash bulb when the key was turned) so connected it up to my newly purchased Noco gb40 and boom fired up straight away. God I miss the sound of the boxer. Can't believe something so small could start the car that easily

Not today but yesterday I took the Fabia for a blast across the back roads from Ards to home. Such a good going wee thing and still managed over 40mpg!

Is this just keeping it standard ride height? My suspension is tired and ive been looking at the B12 kits, but cant justify spending £600+ on shocks and springs

And i begrudge buying a cheapo set of coilovers for it as i dont need it any lower than how it currently sits (circa 40-50mm)
