Thank you. Going to keep this one. Not the cleanest of the 3 or 4 I’ve had but a keeper and all original. Looking forward to the TT.

Picked up this rear swingarm assembly might fit it to the nsr haven't decided yet 😂 tbh might just buy a frame and build a 400 🤷‍♂️

Incredible bikes, always amazes me how much money you have to spend on a car to get the same power/speed of a litre sportsbike

Cheers. The 1000cc has a lovely spread of power. Plenty of grunt down low for normal riding, but the second half of the rev range can only be described as frantic. No rider aids on this era of Fireblade either.

I still have urges to buy a second bike, planed on a sports tourer to do longer trips with more comfort but looking at sports bikes makes me want one also. I need a go on something like a 750. I don't think a 600 would be for me anymore after being used to the low down and mid range of my 1000, granted a newer 600 will have the same power, but its still well down on torque.

You could leave those 4 cylinder categories behind and look at twins and triples. Especially if you want a second bike and your existing one is a four. You get a whole different character, good torque and usually a better all-round road bike.

Any engine is a possibility if the rest of the package would be right. I've had a V twin before and loved it.

Took a Triple R out years ago from McAllens for a rip…serious fun! Super smooth and felt like power on tap for what it was. I weight next to nothing and it still felt nimble until I pinned the throttle through 3rd and 4th and was hanging on like a sheet on a washing line 🤣 the new gsr750 beside (behind) me had no hope. Switched bikes and in keeping up I cooked the abs on the gsr 🤷‍♂️

The R was maybe a bit much unfaired at full chat. Power delivery from those engines is really nice though.
