Is that the cheapest you can get that? I wouldn't dream of giving that for a £2000 standard 2 ltr car, ( I assume it's an EP3) especially as you're over 25...

Yeah it's an ep3! Crazy money for it but for some reason no one would really best that quote!
I was with Axa before for the whole of the three years but they wouldn't go below 1050
Took me about 2 days to find someone to beat it! Which was auto line!

Did AutoLine not use AXA for your cover though? My woman is with them, and AXA are the insurance company (under writer) that AutoLine used to insure her as they are just a broker.

Postcode, previous claims, the idea of the car being desirable to thieves, high risk with the number of them previously crashed etc would all be taken in to account.

They did but as the renewal was from them Axa couldn't do it any cheaper
So the best was RSA

Was pretty impressed with Admirals quote as it was £400 cheaper than axa, greenlight couldn't quote due to lower bhp of previous car. Only thing about Admiral is that you have to sit on hold for 10 minutes every time you want to ring them.

I've been happily insured with Flux for a couple of years now but I know what you're talking about dude.

Recently been thinking about a switch to an Impreza but they basically laughed at me. An additional £800 halfway through my policy. Honestly didn't think there would be a problem as I have an RX-8, MX-5 and Audi A4 insured with them (2 policies switching between the 3 cars).
Apparently the Subaru is too much risk for the insurance company.
33 now and been on my own insurance since I was 18 with no claims, no speeding, no points or any offences. Not even a parking ticket. lol
Might have to talk to this Greenlight crowd myself if I'm serious about this Impreza idea.
