So this morning a good friend picked up some methanol in Dublin for me as it’s almost out. I don’t how much it goes through so I will fill it today and see how long it lasts.

The car has been awesome to drive and the sound is something else I don’t think I will get bored of it.

It’s sound mad I stopped the car a few times to try and work out what the sound was coming from the front end then i realised it was the intake lol.

It looks class. Total opposite of a Q car. I think you should keep the black wheels.

Are the front windows tinted? Will the cops give you bother for that?

It comes to life at the higher end of the rev range from 5k onwards makes a lot of difference. I will try grab a video of it in action.

I’m keeping the wheels black but I’m looking at buying an other set maybe some split rims or something.

Front windows are tinted and I’ve had no bother from police yet they have been following me around town but have yet to stop me. They are not as dark as they look in the pics.

In terms of who has done it? If so all the work has been carried out by The Turbo Unit (TTU) in Tamworth they are RS3 specialists.

@Phil_D it goes really well and the sound is very addictive.

@leek9 im all for the meth it will be staying for the foreseeable future.

First thing you need to do is replace the transfer box bearings as they are pure junk from factory .replacement bearings and seals are like £150 and a new box is £3700.
That will be a sharp car .

Yeah tps do 2-3 of them and the main bearing I should have the part number and they can be got now online .the seals are from tps also .

@Tufty sorry the bearings come from Hailey bearings but 3 years ago they didn’t do the main one but possibly do it now .the part number for it is

Will these ever fit over your brakes ,rs3 very poor for wheel choice due to offset needed and brakes
