Rear camber arms went in yesterday. Always thought these looked flimsy until I got my hands on the standard ones and by God they’re paper thin.

Handy enough job, only awkward bit is the inside bolts don’t clear the diff so you need to unbolt the diff and twist it to get them out, but apart from that it was easy enough.

Then took the car down to Magowan Tyres for an alignment. Friend who works there is on annual leave but came with and still ended up doing the alignment for me. I also broke the Magowan’s record - needed 14 rubber blocks to get on the ramp....even then it was touch and go

The front toe was out 8mm on one side and 9mm the other and the backs were both out around 14mm

All sorted now and car is running 3-4mm camber in the front and 7-8mm in the back.

Also got the M Sport side skirts on (finally). Not a massive difference from the SE ones. M Sport is the top one in this pic, standard SE on the bottom.

Again it’s not a massive difference to the SE one but it completes the M Sport kit and I know the difference so that’s enough for me lol

Painted the piece of **** number plate holder tonight because it’s bad enough being there never mind it being bright silver and rusty

Then I fecked up with the plate the first time round

But yeah, it’s black now

Few wee odd jobs done today that I’ve been meaning to do for ages - I’m sure everyone has them

My trip computer has never worked and honestly I would very rarely use it but it just always bugged me. Got a stalk from the breaker I have and now it works like a dream - and apparently I’ve been getting 26mpg which is impressive given how I drive

I also replaced these trays which were scraped and worn looking for newer looking ones from the breaker.

I also hit a mileage milestone

And all under the watchful eye of the man with the tan @JH86

Been pretty quiet on here recently but not much really been happening with the car.

Went to NI-BMW breakfast meet

Took some pics with @JH86

Went to JPCCCCCCNI Cars & Coffee (and forgot my towing eye cover )

And parked in a bus lane

That’s pretty much been my month, nothing very exciting apart from searching for another new project which I’ve to get over to England for next week all being well.

Don’t think I’ve seen an E46 with a non-leaking gasket and yes @JH86 I know about the E90 rocker cover but this was easier

Too much daily driving in it recently but I’ve just been enjoying driving it too much. Selling the E60 and on the hunt for another daily in the next few weeks so that’ll give me a chance to actually have the E46 clean for once

Where did you pick up your new gasket from? My one needs to be replaced at the minute. Also what's this about an E90 rocker cover, is that an upgrade for the e46?

All quiet on the E46 front seeing as it’s been sitting up for a few weeks.

Went today though and picked up a set of M3 seats for cheap. They looked quite tatty in the photos but seem much better in person. Been thinking about recovering my seats anyway over winter - maybe a red stitch or something? Open to suggestions on that one.

Anyway, will get them cleaned up and into the car for now but in the mean time have a terrible photo of them

(Also, anyone need black rear E46 M3 seats gimme a shout )
