Hi Arn,

You may find that the clio comes with an immobiliser as standard, so worth checking that before spending your hard earned cash on another device (y)

Kind regards

Tony

All sounding positive then :grinning:

Tony, how are you concerning cars with LPG Autogas conversions?

I have a E46 BMW 330ci Sport with a conversion (cheaper than petrol  ). The conversion was done by a professional installer and I have a LPGA certificate for it.

It unaffects my premium with my current insurer.

Cheers
James

Hotmail Addresses

Hi All,

We've recognised a problem which we need to highlight to those of you with Hotmail addresses.

The quotation terms are e-mailed to you and Hotmail's junk/spam filter often filters the mail to their Junk/spam box.

If you've not received a quotation within 24 hours of submission it's worth you checking the junk/spam box of your ISP.

In the event that you still cannot trace a reply, simply call our office on 01277 263030 or PM me with your actual name/postcode/correct e-mail address and we'll look into/re-process your individual case.

Kind regards

Tony

Morning James,

We generally specialise in performance/aesthetically enhancing modifications, but as long as the base vehicle is a performance vehicle (E46 330ci would be ok) LPG conversion's are fine.

If you get 5 mins spare, click this link & pop your details onto http://www.greenlightinsurance.com/index.php?Referrer=ReallyMeanSounds for an accurate indication as to what we can do.

Kind regards

Tony

Tony just to share my Question as Im sure its relevent. FC covers social and commuting yeah?

Also can a 2nd car be added temporarily? Eg per day or week? I could do this before and it was very handy for moving a track car around etc.

Cheers Tony - once you start doing jap imports I'll try you out for the Supra (social use only) and the 330ci (daily driver).

It is refreshing to see more and more companies coming to Northern Ireland, and long may it continue (y)

Hi Steve,

With regard to NCB, we accept NCB from the UK, Eire, Australia/NZ, Hong kong, South africa, Cyprus, Malta, USA & most established EU countries.

So, Quinn's NCB would be fine.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards

Tony

Just got an excellent quote from Greenlight for the Pug - £457 fully comprehensive with all the mods declared. £93 cheaper than Adrian Flux.

Morning Pablo,

The use can be selected individually and isnt cover specific, but the quotes we provide to you online will be set to include Pleasure use & commuting.

Our policies are intended for enthusiasts with specialist vehicles and we do not target company car type business. So, if business use is requred this will need to be referred and may be included on application, dependent upon the extent of the use.

Temporary additional cover is available subject to a charge being made by the Underwriter on a week by week basis. The vehicle being added must have a valid MOT and cannot be Insured under any other policy elsewhere.

Kind regards

Tony

Perfect - I drive to work the odd time but dont need it for business use as such.

Again perfect - as a track car will sit in the garage for most of the year its almost pointless taking out a years policy. Adding it on for a week at a time is ideal, gives a few days of tinker time before a trackday and covers to and from the event.

Brilliant Tony I wish my renewal was sooner!

Got sorted with a very good price. These prices are excellent

I work for an insurance company and can't get close to what I have just been quoted.

Good to see prices finally coming down in NI.

Hi Stocky,

We're still finding our way in the province at the moment, but having carried out extensive due diligence early last year we should be able to offer competitive rates and better/more relevant benefits to the modified/performance car owner.

We recognise an additional factor compared to everyday Underwriters. This being that people who own and drive these types of vehicles have a greater pride in their vehicle, it's more than just a piece of metal or a run around - they love their car and show a greater care in terms of looking after it (ie. where it's parked, how it's maintained, the security upon it).

In addition, modified cars owners usually keep their vehicles in very good order. The owners have usually been meticulous in their planning of modifications, invested blood sweat and tears into the car.

Unlike most Insurance entities I wish to make it clear that we regard you as the ultimate vehicle enthusiasts and DO NOT regard owners of modified cars as boy racers.

Kind regards

Tony

Its good to see an insurance company with sense, as soon as you mention mods to anyone else they freak out and assume your just a car abuser because you want it to go faster
