Strong money mind you... but what a cracker.

Did it sell? I'd love a 2.0ES .There was a late black or grey one in Ballycastle recently with a dent in the door for around £500. Mate had looked at it quickly a while before it went up for sale and said it was a good car.
Someone has one of these just laying up near me. It's grey and looks very coolNot often you see a 480 in this condition for sale: 1990 Volvo 480 in Beautiful condition For Sale | Car And Classic

What.... In Waringstown?Someone has one of these just laying up near me. It's grey and looks very cool
It's in Lurgan in the estate that links the Banbridge road to Avenue Road. I usually walk though there and loop back via flush place in with the hound.What.... In Waringstown?
My Dad had a Volvo 343 from Roy Paul motors outside Portadown when I was in my early teens. Our neighbour was a salesman with them and arrived home in a black 480ES. He took us for a run in it and I was smitten..
Fat alloys and a drop would be rather cool......
I'm not sure. There's a mechanic on corner site opposite Silver Cliffs caravan park (name maybe changed now) has load of old cars lying out front. He had it around the backDid it sell? I'd love a 2.0ES .
Lol I can give you a shout tomorrow evening and you can join the walk if you fancy a nosey. I think it's the top of Carrick avenue or something like that its calledThat's the Avenue Road estate.... Right..... I'll be taking a spin to take a look tomorrow (unless you're out tonight with the dog and fancy doing some reconnaissance for me lol)
True didn’t think of that. I’m guessing battery, the car did sit for a while as he was trying to get a test booked and maybe the cold weather has killed it. Just not the usual symptoms of weak start etc. Never had a car that just goes completely dead, the why his Volvo does.Sounds like dead battery?
It wouldn't start on jump leads if the fob battery was out, but can't hurt replacing that too while at it. Easily done and you never know when it was last done.
Must take a spin past again - it was there when first mentioned above... but not the last time I passed. Not a great colour combo.... I'd probably jump at a black one if I found one. Mind you..... probably a LOAD of trouble I could be doing without.
Black is a fantastic colour for them, suits the car perfectly. It's a deep multi colour metallic. Looks amazing. When clean
The white looks very good as well in real life.
Rebel blue is obviously the signature colour. It's not actually exclusive though, you get C30 and whatnot in that same colour. I think Volvo missed a trick there. It's not like the "faded yellow" that was only ever used on the T-5R in 1995.
Here is the full set from the world record last year.
