So where do I start... Having sold my DC5 last December and not particularly knowing much about evo's other than I really bloody wanted one. So
I started into a bit of research...coming to the conclusion that it would be best to get fresh import to get a condition I would be happy with.
Spec wise I think the GT was the right choice with the 5 speed box and rear diff so no AYC pump. ( seats are awesome too )
I came across this on Torque GT's website and I knew as soon as I saw it that it was the one.
I know the colour maybe isn't to everyone's taste but I love it. I didn't actually know you could get a GT in yellow lol.
The journey was a long one... not just the wait for the car arriving but collecting it and driving home. Taking almost 8 hours of driving to get from the south of England to Birkenhead Docks. A car fire on the M6 had us at a standstill for at least 2 hours. I was ****ting the pants thinking we would miss our ferry. However we made it in good time thankfully.
Spec wise it is standard apart from a genuine ralliart carbon front splitter & ralliart spark plug cover. I think that's all it needs really. Maybe a Change the exhaust down the line and a remap to suit. ( I said this when I bought my DC5 and err yea that didn’t happen )
Enough talking... here’s a few photos I took today once she was cleaned up.
(Up on the ramps at Torque GT)
Absolutely love the interior. Seats feel great and support me perfectly, even after a long drive home I got out feeling fresh.
Out for a clean today with the other member of our family
Now tucked away for the winter...
Any comments welcome
