after looking through the video footage from Tonys (@evo98) SR8 we seem to have a 53.46 second Lap (Hairpin to Hairpin - Lap starts at 2:48.51 and runs to 3:41.97)

Scary to think there is more left in that car if I’ve ever the balls to take debtors at 150 😂 it’s a gradual thing thou that takes time as your confidence grows with the car.

Stop looking at the speedo 🤔 are you going to race it? Would be good to see it out.

You will get there, if you are putting in Genuine 53’s that is the leading pace for Boss Ireland Kirkistown events.

I've never seen an SR8 at the pointy end before.

How do you book an event?

Would be my first track event, just need a helmet?

Go the Trackskills website, the details are there.

But yes, basically bring a helmet, a long sleeved shirt and long trousers, and enjoy the day. If it's a standard car then just go easy and stick to 10 minute sessions. Brakes and tyres will take a pounding, so just pace yourself and take it easy.

Once you've done one you'll be hooked 😎

Had a look but must have missed it.

Cheers, good advice. Yeah, il not be trying too hard first time, I'd be nervous of holding people back tbh lol - only a little 1.8 Eunos!

Thanks!

Everyone is very well behaved, you get over the initial nerves after your first few laps.

As Sven says, you'll be hooked after your firsts session!

There are still restrictions on the number of people on site, etc.

Don't try to make sense of it all, it just is what it is.

Just had an update from Donal. It's back to "normal" again, spectators allowed, etc.

Happy days

There are even a few extra spaces available if anyone wasn't able to book in before.

Cheers dude, auld 535d wouldn't lend itself to track use but its always a nice Sunday drive stop off point when a track day is on!

I'll pop by on Sunday if the weather is good 😎

That’s what I thought. It was Donal who said it in the first place at the last track day lol

Doesn’t look like the Clio will make it. It’s got wild steering atm, I think it’s the steering rack bushes. Doesn’t want to go in a straight line.
Not sure whether I cancel or take the Forester. ^o)
