Remember saying to myself when they get to about 10 I’ll buy one. They hovered about 15 for years then shot up again ffs. Wish I’d have just gone for it now

Great news
I was thinking fair enough til I read replica. I was hoping it had a decent engine but Jesus Christ £18k for a 1.4 escort in a pretty frock 🤪🤣 the 1.4 were dead slow even back in the day 🤣🤣

I had a 1.3 pushrod. Took it to @suckindiesel house to pick up a mate and his dad popped out of the house to see it, heard it running and asked me if it was diesel :joy:

friend of mine had a RS turbo diesel replica, one of the old escorts or fiesta, something like that. full replica from the outside but was diesel, parked it in Belfast.

it got broke into and they started it and then heard it was a diesel, got out of it and left it ticking over lol.

Similar story with my derv escort estate someone punched the lock on the drivers door but never even tried to touch the steering column cover. It only had the Ford radio in it too and you could open the boot with anything so I’ve no idea why they broke into it no tools in the boot either.

The attempt at harrier was poor, was just a black mk5 with gold stripe and a boot spoiler wasn't it?
The MK6 Mexico was a far cry from the originals as well.

Any I remember back in the day had those trims, I always thought they were random as they didn't even have a ford badge! Were the alloys were maybe an option?

Can't6 find any old adverts anywhere for them, but they are the trims I remember and images show that one and a rotten one with them.

Hardly important in the grand scheme of things :joy:

The MK5b harrier was even more pants

You sure? my sis had one as a company car from new and it came with wheel trims from what i remember - its amazing that there is only about 5 pictures in total of them on the internet lol
That's what I remember too dude, there weren't many of them around. Remember an older guy whose family always had nice Fords getting one and thankfully put MK4 XR3i alloys on it

Yes I’m almost certain they came with the same wheels as above.

This manky one has the same trims too, albeit painted silver so the black surround doesn't show. Any I ever saw had these. The RS alloys were maybe an option and look a damn sight better!

i remember a mate taking his dads new car out, a mk2 mondeo 1.8 LX, and it was the first car i'd ever been in that had a rev counter, and i thought race car!
I distinctly remember being enthralled by one in this... any guesses:
