Well its d-day tomorrow lads, off to see what they make of her, spanner checks all done everything topped off, greased up etc. headlights to set tomorrow and a quick wash.

He's still at the test centre. I hear they're keeping it open late tonight to bring testers from other areas in for a perv too...

Well the news is SHE PASSED, yes i had quiet a few questions and a bit of craic at the station and when i got home there was cake waiting. Not a bad way to end the day.

So whats next ive a few videos to sort out and then my snag list before it goes to get properly detailed and then time to get her to work and the odd show. while planning phase 2... which involves some products from ARP and a rather large turbo.

Still more to come but now some sleep.

haha cheers lads, been still busy tidying up bits and peices and getting the engine tuned to where id like it.

Got the pump tuned to a light haze on boost and a check over, also have the central locking wired and working now. Luxuries gopro audio is as to be expected unfortunatly lol

The work continues, been sound deadining the trans tunnel and seatbox, almost covered 200 miles, no real issues so far. finally the new grille arrived so its on to replace the cracked original.

Never seen you, was in rush-mere having 130 problems as i needed 2 spaces to park lol should have taken some pictures tbh. Almost 19ft long and the turning radius of a small ship do make shopping trips interesting.

You were just passing the train station in Portadown when I came the opposite way in the lorry. It did strike me as being quite large.... must be menacing to see it coming up from behind in a normal car! Lol.

Just back from the states with work and the 130 was on my to do list, I got the central locking working and hooked into the alarm so i now have remote central locking . Hit her with a hose and started cleaning the interior. Also picked up another compressor to try and sort out the racket it makes under the hood. If anyone knows someone who could get me a deal on Warn products get in touch i need a winch lol

Been out doing the rounds while i sort the passat for MOT. Shes pootles along nicely averaging around 20-25mpg.. however when you start filling the road with smoke id say around 10.

What a great machine!! My dad had a 50th Defender that had the Overfinch chassis and engine tune from factory. He then fitted a tuned version of the 4.0 in it with a fast road cam. It was entertaining to drive!

hehe shes fun over 80, not really made for it, thats why i chose the cummins, doesnt need to be revved and enjoyins trundling along at 70 at 1500 rpm. Been trying to cut the smoke down for the daily commute im not backed out fully on the afc off boost screw and still making smoke with the larger injectors so its time too get out the tools and see if i can machine down the afc top to get some more travel on the pin.
