Cheers lads nice meeting you all as well,the photos and videos look well, got home and actually washed her. going to have to sort that aux belt out this week sound would go through you when you start her.
What you may not have known was this morning i had the engine in pieces. hence the lack of washing.
Fitting a rebuilt compressor and dynamic timing advance spacer.
I may have also got derv on the aux belt...
got another toy to fit this this week aswell

Well i finally gave in and broke the limit collar off the power screw and gave her a turn, made a massive difference too the power.
Also passed the magical cummins barrier of 40psi of boost and yes i like too party. potato video below.
you can prepare for an update video of axles turned too mush shortly im sure.....

There where 3 people flashed me i couldnt work the tiguan out, question answered lol i was on hands free was a bit slow reacting

Hehe well any of you that where there will know the saga at the weekend but for those who missed it.
We started out early on sunday morning for some offroading with some mates with a Pajero and D2 and the RMS crew, left around 8am with the cummins towing the Pajero on a trailer up the mountain. she had no bother returned decent mpg tbh.
We got too flagstaff and within around 5 min the paj turbo was no more
So after that we took into the D2 and after another 5 min
We got that fixed with the help of nicky and a few other RMSers. then we pootled around before deciding to recover the paj this resulted in @Nicky smashing a front diff and the d2 getting it tight, so after that decided we would risk the tow vehicle and take the cummins in.
She was superb the torque is great offroad and the engine braking so handy downhill. She ended up a little dirty.
Ive edited some of the clips that where sent too me and photos into a short video. All and all a good days craic.
Only real outcome for change is i need a bigger fan for low box offroading, so a high CFM spal fans been ordered.

Went for a couple of spins this week done around 300 miles upto the big100 and too the north coast. Cummins just eats it up, managed too get a few pictures around the place.
Shes getting a fluid change and a spanner check this week, maybe another wash as im still finding firt and grass everywhere, then id take her anywhere.
Good too see a few more people out and about in her.

Been working away with the cummins few more miles up.
Decided too see what she sounded like with no muzzle on her. Its not much louder but she has much more bark going through the gears.
No need for this peice now except when i want too quieten her down, easy change now in 3 min with the v-bands
