Cracking wee project , after working on my dads DS, I hope the electrics are in good order!

Wiring on BX is fairly good, only problem is all the wires tend to be the same colour.

Am rewiring the engine harness anyway as I'm ditching the stock motronic for the Emerald, so it can go in the good phase one silver BX GTi 16V to make it original.

I'd say it'll run over a grand, virtually none of them left these days

Got less done this weekend than I wanted, as I was bloody sick.

Still got a few things sorted - wiring started, throttle bodles on, timing belt on

where i left it last week

manifold on for throttle bodies
bxr38.jpg

had to take the die grinder to the engine mount to allow manifold to fit
bxr39.jpg

throttle bodies bolted on

starting to split looms to decipher the wiring, and work the new ECU into it.

timing cover backplate on, pulleys and timing belt. no tension in the belt yet as waiting on getting a tension gauge for the belt tomorrow before I tighten the tensioners up.

finish it, then drive it!

Hope to get it finished (Bar bodywork) tomorrow. Bit of suspension work to do shouldn't take me too long.

Have to install the set of catcams camshafts that recently arrived as well.

The slight rattle is the high pressure pump for the suspension and brakes, it sounds like a bag of nails until properly bled through.

Fantastic, I'd forgotten about this thread. Is that an Imp underneath the ramp?

Is indeed, 1971 super with extremely low miles (less than 3000)

BX is undergoing a bit of bodywork atm, mechanical work is finished bar changing brake pads. Booking an MOT soon!

Love the Imps, those or a sunbeam stiletto. Plus the BX is coming along nicely, keep up the good work. PSA for the win.

starting to strip interior to put proper full stripy interior in:

bx60.jpg

before I put the rear bumper on that required fixing, and the black drivers side wing as the old one had a kink in it (Good job I have a **** load of spare body panels for these things:

bx61.jpg

Tax book currently on it's way to me, then it's MOT, and then spray the front wing and bumper, and soon to be seen on the roads terrorising the modern hot hatches :grinning: (Then I'll start properly on the ZX 16V)
