Philip White in Mallusk but it was just a basic toe setting front and back. A proper alignment is a big job and you need a specialist really.

Sometimes
So with the coilovers all fitted I took it out a run and immediately thought this is undriveable it was so hard. Would also try to throw you off the road at any kind of bump. Got it home and fiddled with the adjusters which were pretty much on full hard all round. Back to a few clicks from soft and its 100000% better for the road. adjusters are easily (ish) accessible without jacking so next trackday will be spent fiddling :grinning:

Commute in this morning felt pretty good (though still have the ZZR semi slicks on so no heroics)

Sitting about 30mm down all round. Cleared the speedbumps in work so think Ill stick with that.

chatting to coop last night about doing the petrol cap black but think too many black bits would just make it look odd so not planning any more visual mods unless I spray it I reckon.

Yes, don't think black cap would work on yours. Works great with the screw on cap on the S1 but you have the flat cap. I think you can get polished caps, that might work?

Personally I prefer the mirrors body colour as well. The black scoops work brilliantly though!

There is clear POR15 as well.

In fairness for what it's used for black is usually what's needed anyway, especially when applied to anything that isn't perfectly shiny. Which nothing is underneath the car.

And then for best adherence you sometimes need to use an etch primer anyway as well. Especially when applied to shiny bits as it needs a bit if surface roughness to stick to.

I imagine that is true for any of the other products too, but I've never used them.

I only ever used clear POR15 for parts of the footwell/floor.

2nd track day in the car and OMG what a difference. It was really wet but the extra power from the 2.4 inlet manifold and reworked ecu is unreal. Had to resort to the road tyres and leave the ZZRs at home but in fairness they were sublime in the wet.

Hopefully find some pics and fire them up.

@Cooper didn't get to lap me today, or even pass me if I'm not mistaken. Good result :grinning:
