Just read up on that. Seems they are using a 2014 engine supply from Ferrari?? How will they ever get back in the game if they are already down on power never mind subpar aero ? :/
Matthew Carter, Lotus F1 CEO, sees Jorda as a unique addition to the team and is delighted to welcome her on board.
“We are looking forward to working with her over the course of the season and ultimately seeing her behind the wheel of the car,” Carter said.
“Carmen will bring a fresh perspective to the team. We have a strong programme for her attending Grands Prix as well as extensive time in our sophisticated simulation facility at Enstone. She is a unique addition to the team and we are looking forward to helping her progress her goals as well as receiving the benefit of her insights and contributions to the development of the E23 Hybrid.”
Jordan spent three seasons competing in the GP3 Series, but failed to score a point.
Say Waaaat ? "Jordan spent three seasons competing in the GP3 Series, but failed to score a point." Would a male in that position get an F1 drive? This is sexual discrimination of the worst kind.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_female_Formula_One_driversSeems the race is on for the teams to have the first female F1 driver.
Cheers
I've noticed a few saying that Redbull had a disastrous testing campaign last year and went on to win three races. The difference then was all the teams were in the same boat in uncharted territory. Now 90% of the grid have a season under their belt and McLaren and Honda are a season behind for the sake of argument. I had hoped they'd hit the ground running but I can see them having a BAR season at this rate.McL struggling again in testing yesterday, only managed 12 laps. Still to come anywhere near full race pace too.
Sure, this is what testing is about, and no worse than what the others went through last year with their then new engines. But still cutting it fine!
