i hope they put the heat shield back in after the manifold was fitted? or you might not have brakes and clutch after you drive for abit?
Nope not oem heat Shield. Will pick up a password jdm one some time. Can't see it being much of an issue for now.

All fitted now. I'll pick up a carbon kevlar heat shield when I'm getting my spark plug cover. Will also add a bit more bling to engine bay.

Won't be much longer. Gavin usually works in the evenings. All fluids been changed over.
Looking forward to getting the car back and just driving it.
Though next week I need to get it in to have the bonnet touched up.

The heat shield is back on now. Just wasn't on when I took that previous pic. It's only a couple bolts anyway so easily changed. All the fluids have been done and the flashpro installed and locked to the ecu. I am having some minor dyno issues this week as the pc running the dyno had to be replaced so all the software needs reloaded and setup again. All being well I should have some results at the end of this week.

Fair play they're some serious gains down the Rev range.. Can imagine that to be a far nicer car to drive now!

Quick video and plot of the dyno run.

Car made 250bhp top end and 168lb/ft torque compared to 240bhp and 150lb/ft with toda header, berk 70mm decat, fipk and skunk2 megapower fitted but not mapped.

Before fitting decat and header, it made 236bhp and 144lb/ft with the intake and exhaust only.

Great gains in mid range with peak torque now 1k rpm earlier as well
Haven't driven car yet, get it back tomorrow afternoon.
Can't wait.

@Tim Long if you need convinced about going supercharged then try to get to a track day that @evo98 is at in his supercharged S2000 BMW.

Sounds awesome and is pretty darn quick.

Still sounds like a high review Honda but just with a sh*t load more power.

Nice figures, whats the WHP?
Whp a touch over 200, which means the drivetrain losses are around 20%, the norm for rwd cars.

The biggest difference is in the mid range. It's Night and day compared to how it drove before and with vtec set at 4200 it's fantastic!
At 6500rpm I gain 45whp and 36lb/ft torque to wheels over the standard map with the same modifications.

I'm really pleased with the outcome. Will keep me happy till I seek more power down the line.

I don't need convinced believe me haha. Will see what route I take in down the line. Turbo could still be a possibility
