Jap import VW?! TIL
Picked this up a few days ago. 2006 GTI Polo, jap import. Just turned 40k miles, interior is excellent, steering wheel looks like it hasn’t been used. Headlining you can tell is starting to become ‘loose’ in a few places but can’t even notice it.
spent today fitting waterpump, belt, tensioner, fuel oil and air filter plus new oil of course.
underside is in great shapes, took a photo after fitting the fuel filter and even the lines are still like new. Air filter was replaced even though it looks like
just need to get the clocks changed to UK ones and converted to the correct mileage, anyone know anyone who can do this? It has stickers inside the clocks currently which did pass MOT in July.
the dashboard had a small crack at the front near the window so fitted my spare dash I had lying around, no cracks, just in need of a good clean.
have a spare set of 312mm brakes from a TT also, may get round to fitting those as the discs on currently are near done. Other than that, maybe get a basic remap and drive it for a while, maybe sell it too lol. ST focus I had lasted 40 days before going up the road.

Did you import it yourself or buy it privately?
Left the five series in at Rick's garage to get looked at. Just felt something wasn't right with her... Thought maybe a shock was on her way out....felt soft or something on one side, just couldn't put my finger on it as she wasn't knocking or anything.
Turned out It was the bushes so replaced passenger side and drivers side.
Feels alot more tighter now
@quattro Rick anti roll bar bushes lol said there was a wee bit of movement in it
E36 seems to sit a touch low on the back right, had it on the lift twice checking springs etc might have to get a good look at the bushings incase
