That's the ticket there!

V10 has a few differences, front intakes have less fins, chrome grille, more pronounced sills, and around the rear number plate is black with more shallow rear grilles with less fins. I'd say the upgrades would be a fortune, but just wheels and oval pipes would be straight forward enough.

Personally I'd keep it more V8. Think the quad exhausts suit it well.

Full on drooling a bit here.
R8 has been my ultimate car, basically since they first came out - there are faster, more expensive, more prestigious cars out there for sure, but for whatever reason it's always been an R8 I've wanted - I'm not even a big Audi fan.
Health to enjoy - drive it like you stole it!

Saw it at Halfords on Boucher, I was in a rickety transit. I didn't like it in the photos but it did look quite nice in the metal tonight - what miles are on it ?

Incredible. Thought this was another A4 B4 thread then I noticed it says R8. Holy fook amazing, must be a great feeling just looking out through the blinds at that. HTD.

Wee update

When I got the car the one thing that badly let it down was the alacantra wheel. It was worn the black was really shiny and just looked crap.

Before going down the refurb route I decided to give it a good clean with Race Glaze alacantra cleaner. Really surprised me at how well it came it. The alacantra is back to being a nice matte black. If anyone has an alacantra wheel I really reccomend it

Before - even had to filter the **** outa it to take the bad look off. And I only usually do that for pics of me!

Nice job, do you just spray it on and towel it off? Mine has a couple of small shines patches I'd like to sort

Pretty much I used my dogs hair brush with plastic end tips to agitate it into the alcantara, the wheel turned brown and that was all the gunk coming off, wiped off with a microfibre and rinse and repeat a few times!

After selling the M3 my head was melted on what to do next, buy a house or buy a car, I'm only 25 and all my life to buy a house.

So the car won! Was on the hunt for an R8 that ticked all my boxes, it had to be white, manual and have carbon fibre side blades, this popped up in England for sale and I flew out yesterday morning and got the boat back over from Holyhead.

WOW is all I can say, in terms of straightline speed the E92 is pretty much neck and neck, but everywhere else this car excels, it's like driving a go kart, so much grip and it sounds phenomenal with the after market exhaust that is installed

Spec:

Ibis White
Carbon Blades
CD Changer
NAV Plus
Parking Sensors front and rear
Mag Ride
Manual
Heated seats
Hill Hold assist
Lighting package
Electric seats
Bluetooth prep

It also has an Audi Alcantatara wheel, and and unknown brand exhaust, it sounds amazing though

Plans for the car currently are

Refurb the steering wheel
Plate on
Maybe change the front grill to the newer style honey comb (still undecided though)
Get the gear shift knob refurbed
I kinda hate you,but only because your 1 year younger than me and have an R8

Health to drive and enjoy it while you can, plenty of time to buy and house etc

Not a hard retro fit to do plus you can buy facelift airbag covers for them which have the silver ring around the rings - just needs rivetted on

Just make my first purchase for the car, a genuine Audi V10 front grill, this is all black and replaces the chrome surround that I currently have, think it will sharpen up the front end! Should be here at the end of the week all being well.

Great purchase, I think this will look absolutely spot on.
