cracking defender, love how your not afraid to switch it up and try different things. big brakes on it will look strange but my moto is big brake everything ;) Great work

ps have to say I'm pissing myself at all the petrol pump comments, is this the new "needs a two digit NI plate crew"

Yup they use the 430 variant, the others just need constant work to keep them running smooth. This thing will sit all day at 1k revs purring away. 600 miles on her now and still great. Will be spending the day tomorrow scrubbing the chassis etc to get ready for the Buzzweld treatment and the other bits and pieces we need to fit.

Just awesome.

Must take a bit of getting used too not reaching for gears and having my no physical gear stick or handbrake when you've driven it for years with them.

Is there a kit to put an electric handbrake in @mcma1 or did you make one up?

Is high/low and diff lock still on the gear stick?

Yes mate, JE engineering to a kit for the handbrake, all I did was marry the D4 switch to the carling rocker switch they use.

Fairly sure I drive past your house on the way home in the evenings, feels weird to say it, but have almost been disappointed meeting the RS6 on the road and not this!!

Been flat out. Chassis done using Buzzweld products, RCP, Zero prep cavity wax and CIO top coat. All the brakes and suspension fitted, anti roll bars and polybushes, HD steering rods, rear diff and shaft removed, just waiting for the replacements from Ashcrofts. Full new leather dash all fitted.

One of my favourite vehicles on here, will be unreal when it's finished.
