It was almost here a handful of years ago, then it couldn't run as it was Stormont that was funding it, and they collapsed."IF"
I assume a new set of road-closing orders isn't easy, and it's best to jump on the back of an established set of previous used closures?Left open or stolen…
I jest. I’d love to see a WRC round over here

I think we all know it's going the same way, but hopefully the bank transfer is done to WRC, first.

Ford have one of those stupid sound generators that is built into the exhaust (basically a speaker type thing plumbed in) on the options list for Ranger Raptor. Supposed to make your 2.0 biturbo derv sound like a V8. What a crock ofI've seen a diesel van with one of those "sound generators". Was set to sound like a Nascar V8, lol, still went like a diesel van
Can't see the point of it on a rally car or any other race car to be honest. Just a gimmick, like the "enhanced" engine sound through the speakers on most modern sport cars...
Just be true to what it is.
I still do wonder how they make them 'safe' after an off, given how often marshals, spectators etc help push cars out. Like the way you see the delay with touching a F1 car.
Yes, normally in that area of France. Were they testing round Monte or somewhere like that?
Mammoth shunt for Neuville today. Just goes to show how far safety has came along in rallying (along with Tanak's Monte crash last year) but that car is definitely a write-off
Yep, they sound good. Though that won't appease the 'Group B was the best and fastest, 11ty hundred million bhp' types who conveniently forget the Group A cars were faster over a stage

Don't know, I doubt the Finnish lads running to a car with a tow rope would take much noticeI think I read over the weekend, that the car will, in the event of a crash, flash the lights in different colours to indicate whether its approachable or not. Who is going to take notice or know what colour is what? Will the livery have to have a Health and Safety manual and disclaimer??
3 different lights. Green, amber and red (with and alarm for red).I think I read over the weekend, that the car will, in the event of a crash, flash the lights in different colours to indicate whether its approachable or not.
